Blue ribbon panel clears its own

I had to laugh when I read Eugene Robinson's article on accepting the global warming theory. Funny how Mr. Robinson cited a "blue ribbon panel" whose findings have cleared Mr. Mann, the professor at Penn St. University who has promoted his Global Warming Theory, and who's e mails indicates some degree of fraudulent data gathering. But why did Mr. Robinson not state that the blue ribbon panel investigating Mr. Mann are fellow professors from Penn State University? Not to mention that the university is receiving over $750 million in research money from the government. Incentive enough to clear Mr. Mann of any wrongdoing? Why, that's akin to asking Eric Holder to investigate any wrongdoing by the new Black Panther Party. Keep writing, Mr. Robinson, I need the occasional laugh.
