Agree to a point with religion remarks Regarding Joe Bauer's July 13 Fence Post: Joe, I agree with much of what you have said, except that part of your comments are exactly 180 degrees wrong. Our forefathers were concerned that government would mandate religion, just as it did in England, so they wrote laws to insure that government did not interfere in religion, and the people were free to worship in their own way, or not at all if they so chose. Isn't it funny how this, and so much else of our constitution, has been distorted by people who have their own agenda? Bob Finkel Glen Ellyn
