LeBron could learn a lot from Toews' professionalism
Jonathan Toews returns to his hometown of Winnipeg to celebrate the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup championship and is pictured, on a public bus, with his family and the cup on his way to parade in his honor. Contrast that to the broadcast on ESPN of LeBron James' "agonzing decision" to play for the Miami Heat. One professional, a champion athlete with no posse or hangers-on, just his immediate family, the Stanley Cup between his knees riding a bus. The other a "third person" wannabe, with an inflated sense of self-worth, no championships and a willingness to play second or maybe even third fiddle on a team that wasn't his nor will be his despite "taking his talents to South Beach." Amazing!
