What happened to WGN, one of the country's finest radio stations?

Can anyone provide a plausible explanation for the disaster that has taken place at what formerly was one of the finest radio stations in the country? Is anybody in authority monitoring whoever is bringing that station down? Is anybody listening to the response of the listeners? Does this even matter anymore at this once fine radio station? What's next? Laski filling in for Milt Rosenberg? Or has that happened already?
