Robocalls harm the election process
There ought to be a law against political robocalls. Here we are again, roughly four months away from the November election and the calls have already begun. By the time the election rolls around the voters will be fed up, many to the point that they may not even want to vote.
I view this as a detriment to the voting process, not an enhancement like those seeking office think. The same people who passed laws enacting the "Do Not Call" lists have made themselves exempt from what those lists were designed to protect: our privacy. What gives these politicians that right?
It's time for the people to step forward and demand that these calls be stopped. Write or call all your representatives and let them know that this is no longer freedom of speech but in fact an invasion of privacy and that they will be voted out of office if this nuisance continues.
