Stanley Cup coming to Lombard

The Stanley Cup is coming to Lombard.

Clint Reif, the assistant equipment manager for the Chicago Blackhawks and a Lombard resident, will get his day with the Cup on July 27. He'll be joined by Village President William Mueller to display the Cup from noon to 4 p.m. at Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse, 70 Yorktown Shopping Center in the Westin hotel.

The event is free and open to the public and fans will have the chance to stop by and take their own photos with the Stanley Cup.

Mueller will begin the celebration by presenting Reif with a proclamation declaring July 27 "Chicago Blackhawks and Clint Reif Day" in Lombard.
