Kane Countybull; A Sony three-disc stereo and three music CDs in it were stolen out of a gazebo in a yard in the 41W000 block of Russell Road, Plato Township, between midnight and 2 a.m. Saturday, police said. The owner had placed a towel over the stereo, and discovered that the thief had replaced the stereo with cans.bull; A woman reported a yellow-gold 2-carat ring, a yellow-gold-and-diamond ring, a gold necklace and $400 were stolen out of a safe in her apartment above a garage on her ex-husband's property in the 6N800 block of Elgin Avenue, St. Charles Township, while she was gone between midnight July 8 and 11:02 a.m. Monday. She told sheriff's deputies she suspects one of her children, who also live on the property.Elginbull; Donna R. Peoples, 51, of the 3100 block of Bennett Place, Aurora, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Grand Victoria Casino, 250 S. Grove Ave., reports said. Peoples, who is banned from all Illinois casinos, is due in court on Aug. 16.
