Updated 'Alice Jr.' hits stage with flair
The Fox Valley Park District's Summer Stage production of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr." will be performed Friday-Sunday, July 16 to Sunday, July 18, at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St., Aurora.
Buy tickets at the Prisco Community Center, 150 W. Illinois Ave., through July 15 and at West Aurora High School on show days. Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.
This production of "Alice" will feature 140 cast members and introduce a number of different twists vs. the traditional favorite.
"The story will be told through song and dance, and nearly every performer has a speaking role, too. It's very different from what you've seen before," said Karen Murray, performing arts supervisor.
