Naperville police arrest two after monthlong drug probe

Two men face charges in connection with a monthlong investigation into cannabis trafficking at a residence at 84 Townsend Circle in Naperville, authorities said Monday.

Naperville police said they received complaints from area residents who suspected cannabis was being used and sold at the site in the Will County portion of the city. They executed a search warrant on July 8 and recovered cannabis, a scale and packaging materials that police said was indicative of cannabis trafficking.

Two men were arrested at the scene, police said.

Leangelo Forrest Jones, 21, of 84 Townsend Circle, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, a Class 4 felony. He also was wanted on a possession of cannabis warrant.

Taylor A. Wilkinson, 18, of 2285 Scott Lane, Aurora, was wanted on a resisting arrest warrant.
