This year's Ribfest was the best ever

I would like to take this opportunity to commend the Naperville Exchange Club and the Naperville Park District for an awesome Ribfest this year. The planning and coordination of this event along with the support of the City of Naperville Police, Fire and Emergency Management was superb.

I was in attendance three out of the four days. What impressed me the most was the site set up totally different from previous years. The marked aisle ways stayed clear and opened for people traffic, the two-stage concept lent the ability to increase the number of patrons by almost 20,000. I know that the South stage was closed off on Friday for the evening concert - not a surprise because the Naperville Exchange Club previously established criteria and posted this to all to be aware of. Their website was fantastic - all concert and event information was posted in a very user-friendly format.

I have been a resident of Naperville for over 30 years and this has been the best-ever Ribfest that I have attended, I hope next year is set up the same because this year's proved to be an enormous success. I am sure that the attendance has surpassed previous years and the result will be an enormous monetary benefit to the elimination of child abuse and domestic violence. Thank you, Naperville, for a great 4th of July weekend.
