Thanks to Pheasant Ridge School classroom volunteer, Mrs. Ford
I am a third-grade teacher at Pheasant Ridge School in Glendale Heights. As I think back about this past school year, I know how hard my students worked. Our days were packed and the students were always busy.
But each week we would look forward to having our parent volunteer join us. Patty Ford would come each Tuesday and read one-to-one with the students. What a great way to enjoy a favorite book.
Students also wrote their own books this year, and Mrs. Ford's assistance with this project was invaluable. Thank you, Mrs. Ford, for coming to our classroom. All of us appreciated that extra pair of helping hands.
