Fairness doctrine for TV and newspapers
People say, well, I do not see liberal bias in the newspapers. Really?
I tell them what they do not report or misreport is why conservatives have left your paper and the Tribune.
• Notice that your death notice of Robert Byrd made no mention of his KKK, his fillibusters on civil rights and his recruiting for KKK two years after he "quit." Did you not know or think it not important?
• The real headline on the Krauthammer column is "The Cowardice Of Not Calling Them Enemies." I guess it does not fit your world view so it became "Let's be honest about terror motivations."
• I somehow do not understand how the General Petraeus of the far left, and the ridicule of Clinton and Obama on his winning Iraqi surge, the placement of McChrystal as Obama's general, his defensive attack-only-if-attacked war, the Obama-proposed "medals for not shooting," McChrstal's s dismissal for his criticism of the man who picked him and back to Petraeus (Bush selection) is not a story of a president who has no clue.
• Maybe next time you will investigate a candidate who released no school applications, grades, papers, hid his $50 million Annenburg spending with no results, and relationship with Bill Ayres, a man who voted present, his opposition to the born alive act, his decades at a radical church with no criticism and his lack of administrative, management, military or business experience. Maybe, but I doubt it.
How about a fairness doctrine for TV and newspapers? I notice that many European and Israeli papers are almost constantly critical of the Obama decisions, yet, no mention made here?
