Arlington Rotary funds jobs program
In this tough job market, many people are turning to their local libraries for information about finding a position.
Extra help will be available at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library thanks to the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights, which has made a second grant to extend the popular Job Seekers series. Beginning in September, job seekers can register for free monthly programs including networking, interviewing and resume review.
In January, the club gave the library $2,000 to fund 19 programs attended by 773 people. Starting in September, people can register for the sessions at ahml.info. Arlington Heights residents get priority, but all are welcome.
