Scouting the Atlanta Beat: The Beat (1-6-3, 6 points) got its only win this season against the Red Stars three weeks ago in Atlanta. But the Beat lost to FC Gold Pride 4-0 in its last game.
Scouting the Chicago Red Stars: The Red Stars (3-5-4, 13 points) return home from a four-game road trip that they hope was the beginning of their turnaround from a difficult start to the season. New coach Omid Namazi has emphasized improved fitness lately.
