Morality, not racism is the problem in today's issues
It would be so nice to open up this newspaper in the morning and receive information that makes common sense. Instead I read about a committee of health care professionals who are so far out of touch with reality that they can't wait to meet again to "brainstorm."
Racism causing premature delivery and low birth weight? How about smoking, drinking and doping? Provide vending machines in the schools to purchase condoms? How about a hotels.com account so that a room could be arranged so that the sex act could be performed in a stress-free environment? Host mandatory meetings in the schools with the stressed pregnant teenager and her parents? How about a meeting of the pregnant teenager and the father of the child to arrange how he is going to support his child?
We need to embrace them, teach them, and let them know they are not alone? Seems like too much embracing has been done already.
You can't regulate morality. This government has been rewarding immoral behavior since the 1950s in terms of handouts. All the vending machines, embracing, and teaching won't change a thing. Cutting off the funds will.
