North Aurora motorcyclist killed in Naperville crash

A 32-year-old North Aurora man was killed late Monday when the motorcycle he was riding struck a curb on a raised median and then crashed into a sign post in Naperville.

William C. Robleski, 32, of Western Drive, was transported to Edward Hospital for treatment and later was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries he received in the crash.

Naperville police said they responded at 11:42 p.m. to the area of Freedom Drive and I-88 for a report of a single -vehicle accident.

The preliminary investigation indicates Robleski was traveling north on Freedom Drive from Independence Avenue riding a black 2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train motorcycle. Police say it appears the driver lost control when the motorcycle struck the curb and then crashed into a sign post on the grass median.

The police department's traffic unit continues to investigate. Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to contact police at (630) 305-5285.
