At least 6 dead in weekend crashes in Wis.

RICHWOOD, Wis. -- At least six people are dead and four injured after two separate car crashes in Wisconsin over the weekend.

In Richland County, three women were killed and one injured Sunday morning when their car struck some off Highway X in the town of Richwood.

The county sheriff's department says the 19-year-old driver, Jessica N. Dull, of Richland Center, died as did 20-year-old Jessica Hartung, of Elmwood and 19-year-old Amanda Newman of Elk Mound. Nineteen-year-old Samantha Turnipseed, of Richland Center, was severely injured.

In Rusk County, three people died and three were injured after a two-car crash about 2:15 p.m. Sunday in the Town of Rusk. According to a county sheriff's department news release, the crash was reported by an On-Star system, which contacts company representatives for emergency services.
