Vince Neil arrested on DUI charge in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS -- A lawyer representing Motley Crue singer Vince Neil is promising a response in court to the rocker's arrest on suspicion of drunken driving in a Lamborghini sports car near the Las Vegas Strip.
Attorney David Chesnoff called it "premature" to respond to the charges on Monday.
The 49-year-old Neil is due in court Sept. 27 following his arrest late Sunday and release Monday from the Clark County jail on $2,000 bail.
Neil is the frontman for a heavy metal band with hits like "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Dr. Feelgood." He lives in Las Vegas, where he has tattoo shops and the Vince Neil Tres Rios Cantina at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Neil recently released a solo album, "Tattoos and Tequila," covering 1970s rock songs.
