Aurora University's Servant Leadership Initiative kicked off April 16 with a workshop called "Leveraging Motivation in Tough Times." AU launched the initiative to promote the principle of servant leadership - a commitment to serving others and the greater good - through education, application and reflection.
In addition to academic courses, the initiative will include a series of public workshops, seminars and round-table discussions focused on servant leadership.
The goal of the initiative is to introduce concepts to aspiring servant leaders and give them ongoing training and opportunities to put them into practice.
