Sox Academy set to offer pro-style player evaluations

The Chicago White Sox Training Academy will behosting their White Sox Evaluations during the month of July at three White Sox Academy locations: Tinley Park, LaGrange and Lisle.

The evaluations are designed to give the player a professional evaluation of their skill level in key areas of the game. At the White Sox Evaluations, all athletes will go through the same pro style tryout that the big leaguers do. Each participant will receive a written evaluation of their fielding, catching, pitching and hitting skills.

The cost of this program is $10 per player. All players must pre-register online at BullsSoxAcademy.com or call 630-PLAYBALL (752-9225).

The evaluation dates are:

• July 8th from 9-11 a.m. at the White Sox Training Academy in Tinley Park located inside Tinley Fitness at 17500 Duvan Drive.

• July 12th from 9-11 a.m. at the White Sox Training Academy in LaGrange located inside the Park District of LaGrange Recreation Center at 536 East Ave.

• July 14th from 9-11 a.m. at the Chicago Bulls/Sox Training Academy in Lisle located at 6200 River Bend Drive.
