Lee's Pizza Lodge hosts youth ministry group

Lee's Pizza Lodge in Carpentersville recently hosted the youth ministry group of Faithwalk Harvest Center in Carpentersville.

The restaurant offers local schools, organizations, service clubs, band/chorus, sports teams and nonprofits an opportunity to help with their fundraising efforts.

"We are happy to be involved in our community," said Terrance Donati, manager of Lee's Pizza Lodge. "Partnering with local nonprofit organizations who are struggling during these tough economic times is important to the success of our business culture. These types of activities give us a distinct opportunity to give back and make a difference."

Recently, Lee's Pizza Lodge hosted the drama club from Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville, the Barrington Area Home Schoolers to benefit the nonprofit Bright Hope, and the youth ministry from Faithwalk Harvest Center in Carpentersville.

"It was a wonderful example of community commitment and generosity," said the Rev. Dexter Ball of Faithwalk Harvest Center.
