2009 Lambs Farm annual report receives Golden Trumpet award
The 2009 Lambs Farm annual report, "Abilities Brought to Life," was recently recognized for excellence by the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) with a Golden Trumpet award, the highest award possible.
This is the organization's fourth Golden Trumpet award; two Silver Trumpet awards have also been received.
The Lambs Farm Quest photography class took all the pictures featured in the annual report for the fourth consecutive year. For 12 weeks during the spring and summer, the participants worked to understand the intricacies of photography - both technical and artistic - including composition, subject placement, lighting and mood. While experimenting with camera angles, framing and action, the men and women documented their friends' true talents for gardening, athletics, computer work and more. As they became engaged in their photo sessions, the participants also unlocked their own abilities to look beyond the surface and see what is extraordinary about the people of Lambs Farm.
"It is an honor to be recognized by the Publicity Club of Chicago, and it is a great pleasure to share the award with the participants," said Dianne Yaconetti, Lambs Farm president and CEO. "This award really is a tribute to their abilities."
Every year, annual reports submitted by non-profit organizations are judged in areas such as photography, writing and layout. The PCC is the largest independent public relations membership organization in the nation, and every year presents awards to companies and organizations that show potential and innovation in a public relations campaign.
