Summer camps start in Naperville

Area athletes are using the summer months to hone their skills in a variety of sports.

More than 100 football players and 50 cheerleaders turned out for the Kids First Sports Safety Inc. summer camps at Frontier Park in Naperville on Tuesday.

Kids First will hold a Punt-Pass-Kick Contest for campers at 9:45 a.m. Friday, June 25, at the park, 3380 Cedar Glade Dr. The championship games will start at 10:45 a.m. with the cheerleaders performing at half-time.

An awards ceremony will follow the game.
