What's so racist about Arizona law?

If every state enacted Arizona's SB 1070 immigration law, then the federal government would have to enforce its own immigration law, and the illegal immigration mess would be history.

The Arizona law isn't racial profiling at all. What is so racist about this clause in the law? "Notwithstanding any other law, a peace officer may lawfully stop any person who is operating a motor vehicle if the officer has reasonable suspicion to believe the person is in violation of any civil traffic law and this section." Police officers everywhere in the U.S. routinely stop vehicles all the time if they suspect the driver is in violation of a civil traffic law. So, what's the beef with the Arizona law?

People, cities, states, whatever, who are boycotting Arizona for its immigration law should instead boycott the federal government for permitting our immigration fiasco in the first place. Doesn't President Obama have the guts to enforce federal law? Why must Arizona have to enforce it?

And for this, Arizona is racist? Nonsense. So the rock group Los Lobos canceled its engagement at an Arizona resort. This group and others instead ought to cancel their appearances at the White House, if they're lucky enough to receive such an invitation. That's the source of the real immigration problem: the presidency itself, not Arizona.
