Storm bringing hurricane-force winds

The National Weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 7 p.m. for all of the Chicago area.

According to the National Weather Service, trained weather spotters reported quarter-sized hail and hurricane-force winds in excess of 80 MPH this system.

It also is expected to produce frequent lightning strikes and localized flooding, according to forecasts.
