WGA offering discount for BMW Championship
Chicago-area golf fans will have an opportunity to purchase 2010 BMW Championship tickets at a discount on one day only - Monday, June 21 - based on the winning score posted in the second of golf's four Majors, being played this week at Pebble Beach.
The fan favorite "Monday after the Majors" ticket promotion for the BMW Championship is returning this year after a successful debut in 2009.
For every stroke under par the winner finishes at the end of the championship on Sunday, the Western Golf Association will reduce the regular ticket price of $45 by double that amount.
For example, if the champion wins with a final score of 5 under par, tickets will be discounted by $10. A minimum discount of $5 off will be applied regardless of the winning score, with the maximum amount of the discount set at $15.
The offer will be valid for one day only, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on June 21, and is not valid with any other promotion or offer.
The BMW Championship, the third event in the PGA Tour playoffs, returns this year to Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont Sept. 6-12.
