St. Charlesbull; A GPS unit was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 1800 block of Moore Court on June 6. The vehicle was not locked at the time of the theft. bull; A Sirius radio was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Amli Apartments complex on June 4. The vehicle was not locked at the time of the theft.bull; James Cavitt, 20, of the 500 block of South Collins Street in South Elgin, was arrested June 4 on charges of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of more than 10 grams of cannabis, a report said. Police came across a vehicle driving through a residential area under construction. Upon stopping the vehicle, police found Cavitt in the passenger seat of with a red lighter and a grinder used to pulverize cannabis on his lap, the report said. He gave police two bags of cannabis, the report said.bull; Delfina Granados, 37, of the 27W200 block of Churchill Road in Winfield, was arrested June 7 on charges of retail theft. Store security at a Von Maur on the 3800 block of East Main Street in St. Charles saw Granados' daughter select four pairs of shorts and three bathing suits from the store, enter a fitting room, then exit without all the items, a report said. Granados then entered a fitting room with her daughter along with more clothing items. Granados then purchased one pair of pants and left the store, the report said. Security stopped the pair and found numerous clothing items valued at about $535, it said. Both Granados and her daughter were arrested.Kane Countybull; Marcus Caldwell, 23, of the 400 block of South Commonwealth Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. Tuesday and charged with trespass and resisting a peace officer at the Vaughan Athletic Center, 2121 W. Indian Trail Road, near Aurora, according to a police report. Police said Caldwell was "rude" to Fox Valley Park District employees and became belligerent when asked to leave. Officers tried to escort Caldwell off the property, but he repeatedly pulled away until police finally forced him to the ground and arrested him, according to the report. Police told Caldwell he would be arrested again if he returns. bull; Donna J. Schwickert, 46, of the 0-99 block of Sugar Lane, Sugar Grove, was cited for criminal trespass at 7:26 p.m. Monday in a driveway on the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue, near Big Rock, according to a police report. Officers said Schwickert was warned previously about staying off the property after a resident complained about her. The resident told police Schwickert "comes over and tries to get money," then "badgers him and yells at him" if he doesn't give her money, according to the report. bull; A Gateway laptop computer was reported stolen Wednesday out of a Ford minivan on the 40W900 block of Bowes Bend Drive, near Elgin. Police said a passenger-side window on the van also was broken. Several tools and other items inside were not disturbed.Bataviabull; Rocks and bricks were thrown through upper-story windows, breaking six panes, at Challenge Properties, 525 N. River St., it was reported at 9:30 p.m. June 10.bull; A wallet was stolen out of a backpack stored in an unlocked locker at XSport Fitness, 81 N. Randall Road, it was reported at 11 a.m. June 10. Randall Road. Police arrested Lawrence E. Mack, 46, of the 300 block of North Second Avenue, a report said.bull; Two metal baker's racks, two small metal tables and a three-step stepladder were stolen from behind a garbage bin outside of Cocoa Bean bakery, 11 S. Seventh St., between 1 p.m. May 30 and 6 a.m. June 1, a report said.
