Naperville man charged in pizza robbery
A Naperville man has been charged in connection with a robbery at Papa John's Pizza, 1220 W. Ogden Ave. in Naperville.
Police were called to the restaurant at 9:10 p.m. Thursday.
Employees told officers the offender displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say they found "several items of evidentiary value" in the home of Charlie Nicholson Jr., 19, of 790 Royal St. George.
He has been charged with armed robbery and was transported to the DuPage County jail.
