Buffalo Grovebull; Thieves entered and unlocked vehicle and removed an Apple iTouch, an iPod connector and a cell phone charger, all valued at $430, overnight June 4 in the 200 block of Stanton Drive. bull; Thieves removed an exotic bird worth $675 from a cage at Tropic World Pets, 802 S. Buffalo Grove Road about 1 p.m. June 5.bull; Vandals scratched the driver's-side door and quarter panel of a car in a theater parking lot at 120 McHenry Road about 8 p.m. May 15. bull; Thieves broke the driver's-side window and removed a purse from a vehicle parked the late afternoon of June 5 at Buffalo Grove Golf Course, 48 Raupp Blvd.bull; A BB broke a window in the 1200 block of Selwyn Lane about noon June 6. The officer talked to a 13-year-old neighbor, who said he was plinking cans in the back yard. His mom said she would pay for repairs and that the BB gun is history, reports said. bull; When a resident mowing her lawn in the 1-100 block of University Drive the afternoon of June 6 went inside for five minutes because of rain, her Snapper mower valued at $375 disappeared.bull; Officers used their cruisers to herd goats blocking the intersection of Prairie and Aptakisic roads back to their pen. According to police reports, the owner stated that the ram escaped by manipulating the gate latch and the ewes followed him in his quest for freedom.Rolling Meadowsbull; Jordan R. Moshinsky, 24, of the 3500 block of Bluebird Lane, Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 1 a.m. May 23 and charged with obstructing police. Officers investigating a residential burglary at that location said Moshinsky refused to comply with instructions to stay out of the crime scene and keep his guests out of the crime scene. Taken were a Toshiba laptop computer, a Sentry brand key-combination safe and a backpack, for an estimated loss of $1,200. Moshinsky's next court date is June 14.bull; Juan J. Estrada, 18, of the 1500 block of Crimson Lane, Palatine, and Alfredo Terrazas, 19, of the 8900 block of Robin Lane, Des Plaines, were arrested just after midnight May 28 in the 2300 block of Algonquin Parkway and charged with obstructing police. Estrada also was charged with criminal trespass. Officers on foot patrol observed the two, one of whom was previously banned from the property, and stopped them after they began to run away, reports said. Their next court date is June 30.bull; Lazaro Lopez-Torres, 34, of the 1000 block of North Plum Grove Road, Schaumburg, was arrested at 3 a.m. at Algonquin Road and Crossroads of Commerce and charge with aggravated DUI, DUI, no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges. Bond was set at $10,000. The next court date is June 15.bull; Kyle R. Brooks, 23, of the 1000 block of South Evergreen Avenue, Arlington Heights, Paul J. Mancuso, 23, of the 3800 block of Raven Lane, Rolling Meadows, and Dorothy A. Dziura, 24, of the 900 block of Nother Wheeling Road, Mount Prospect, were arrested about 11 p.m. May 29 and charged with criminal trespass after they were found hiding in the fenced-in pool area at the park district's Rolling Meadows Sports Complex, 3900 Owl Drive. Their next court date is July 13.bull; Patrice M. Peters, 45, of the 2400 block of Thatcher Avenue, River Grove, was arrested in a parking lot outside a restaurant at 4015 Algonquin Road about 9 p.m. May 31 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. bull; The Memorial Day IMaGE Grant seat belt and speed enforcement campaign May 14-31 resulted in 180 citations for a variety of violations, 86 of them being for seat belt or child restraint violations and 43 of them being for speed-related offenses. The grant officers also made six traffic arrests, including one DUI.bull; A vandal scratched a 2007 white Cadillac Escalade in the 3000 block of Hawk Lane about 11 p.m. May 26, causing approximately $1,000 in damage. About 9:40 p.m. four days earlier, a male teen in a white T-shirt and black hat was seen scratching a 2007 white Cadillac Escalade in the 2300 block of Robin Lane, doing $1,000 damage.bull; Thieves removed two Dewalt cordless drills, a Milwaukee Sawzall and a Skill circular saw from a garage in the 3300 block of Owl Drive overnight Jay 24.bull; Thieves removed approximately 25 pieces of jewelry from a jewelry box in a cabinet in the 3300 block of Owl Drive between March and May 20. The resident has been out of her apartment due to a fire in the building over a year ago.bull; A witness reported seeing a Hispanic man with long, black hair in a ponytail, wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans, running from a 2005 blue Chevrolet Cavalier about 5 a.m. May 28 in the 4600 block of Kenilworth Drive.
