Not the best use of precious state funds

While on a Sunday afternoon drive, I noticed state workers cutting grass at the Arlington Heights Road exit of the Northwest Tollway.

In this time of economic turmoil in this state, why would we be paying overtime to cut grass?

You think, just maybe, that they could schedule this activity during normal working hours ... yah think?

Then again, this is Illinois.
