Buffalo Grovebull; A pharmacist at Walgreens, 1225 W. Dundee Road, reported May 28 that a female subject placed a prescription for a controlled substance and when the pharmacy sent an automatic call advising the subject that the prescription was ready, the person called back stating that she did not place a prescription. When the female came to pick up the prescription, she was questioned and she left without the drugs.bull; Vandals entered the clubhouse at 7 Villa Verde Drive and damaged three sinks in the men's locker room and one in the women's.bull; Someone hacked into a woman's Hotmail and Facebook accounts, sent an e-mail to all her contacts stating that she was in London, got robbed and needed money to get home. The hacker also changed the password to her Hotmail and someone from Nigeria tried to change the password to her Facebook. The resident of the 400 Block of Chatham Circle reported May 31 to police she is canceling her accounts and has notified her bank and the three credit bureaus. Criminal Damage to Vehicle Occurred between 11:15pm on 6/2 and 6am on 6/3 bull; Vandals threw a cement downspout tray through the rear window of a vehicle that was parked in a driveway in the 300 Block of East Fox Hill Drive the night of June 2. The trunk lid also was damaged.Des Plainesbull; Thieves stole a purse valued at $200 after the victim placed it under a pew during a service at All Saints Chapel, 700 N. River Road, between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. May 31.bull; Thieves stole a locked girls' silver and purple bicycle from the Metra depot, 1501 E. Miner St., between 9 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. May 29. Value was estimated at $400.bull; Vandals smashed the windshield and driver's-side windows on a 2000 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on the 500 block of North Cornell Avenue between 7 p.m. May 28 and 1 a.m. May 29. Damage was estimated at $700.bull; Burglars broke into a basement storage locker in an apartment building on the 600 block of Colonial Lane between May 24 and 31 and stole a gas-powered bicycle. Loss was estimated at $755.bull; Burglars stole a window air conditioner, lawn mower, pressure washer, tool case with sockets and wrenches, and a suitcase out of a garage on the 2000 block of East Touhy Avenue between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. May 31. Value was estimated at $825.
