Learn car repair and maintenance

Looking for a fun "girls night out"? Do you find yourself asking the men in your life for advice on car maintenance and repair issues? Take the wheel yourself and own that driver's seat by attending "Car Care Clinic for Girls." This basic automotive maintenance and repair class will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 8 at the Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Rt. 68) in East Dundee.

Presented by Doug McAllister, Daily Herald's "Under the Hood" columnist, attendees will learn preventive maintenance fundamentals, how to communicate effectively with your repair shop, and view various worn automotive parts.

The event is free. Registration is required. To register, stop by the Information Services Desk at the library, log on to the "Events and Registration" page at dundeelibrary.info, or call (847) 428-3661, ext. 308.
