Tax bills hit homeowners hard

What homeowner in Lake County was elated upon receiving their latest property tax bill? With all of the new development and growth in Lake County, why are existing homeowners burdened with having to subsidize this out-of-control spending? The property owners have been inundated with referendum after referendum, then made to feel guilty for not voting in favor of them. One would believe the continued growth process would curb taxes and create some type of balance. The typical family must scrimp and budget to make ends meet. Slow down Lake County, take a deep breath and cut coupons like the rest of us!
