Senate race presents lesser of two evils

Get out and vote, we're told. You have no right to complain if you don't. That is what I have always believed and still do. Yet over the years I have found myself voting for the lesser of two evils, so to speak.

Never has that been more true than it is today, both at the state and national level. A good example is our choices for U.S. Senator. Republicans offer a candidate who lied about his military record while the Democrats offer a candidate with questionable business ethics. It would be nice if the press would fill us in on any third party or independent candidates out there, but don't hold your breath.
