Fowles leads Sky to 4th straight win
Sylvia Fowles had a career-high 32 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Chicago Sky to their fourth straight win, 95-70 over the Tulsa Shock on Saturday night.
Shameka Christon added a season-high 17 points for the Sky (4-4). Fowles shot 12 for 16 from the field.
The Sky led 68-61 after three quarters and put the game out of reach with a 12-0 run to pen the fourth quarter.
Shanna Crossley scored 20 points, Scholanda Robinson had 15 and Plenette Pierson 14 for the Shock (3-4). Crossley was 5 for 6 on 3-pointers.
The Sky led from the start, taking a 16-6 lead on Fowles' rebound basket with 3:22 left in the first quarter. The 6-foot-6 center scored 11 points in the second quarter as Chicago led 41-34 at halftime.
