Hold BP accountable

Once again this country if affected by a major environmental disaster caused by the oil industry. The last time Exxon caused Alaska to suffer. The oil persists on the beaches there, the herring fishery collapsed (and still hasn't recovered), fishermen along with others lost their livelihood. Somehow Exxon got away with paying just a small percentage of the damages.

Now BP has caused a disaster that will far surpass the destruction caused by Exxon. The death of marine life - fish, birds, mammals - will be incalculable. Thousands of people will be adversely affected. BP should be held fully accountable.

Please boycott BP (along with Exxon) and write, e-mail or call your senator or Congressman. Let's put these two companies out of business.
