Learn how social media can work for your business
Learn to use the power of LinkedIn as an effective, low-cost branding and business building tool at the Downtown St. Charles Partnership's Business Development Breakfast series from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 at Baker Community Center, 101 S. Second St. in St. Charles. Coffee will be served.
Mary Erlain of Peak Marketing & Sales Inc. is a business coach who specializes in strategic and organizational planning and implementation. She is executive vice president of Leadership Management Institute-Riverside and is a co-facilitator of the Entrepreneurs' Group.
Erlain says that developing an effective profile in social media is as important as developing an effective website for your business.
In this seminar you will learn how you can use LinkedIn to: leverage your connections to build your business; tell a compelling story and generate new business; conduct company/market research; and network with other businesses using LinkedIn Groups.
All attendees will be entered in a drawing for a free consultation with Erlain. Members and active committee volunteers get in free. Nonmember registration is $20. To RSVP by Friday, June 4, contact Ashley Dorsch at (630) 513-5386, ext. 3 or adorsch@dtown.org.
