Palatine postal patrons come through again
Thank you to the Palatine postal patrons who donated food to the annual letter carrier food drive.
Special thanks goes once again to the Boy Scouts who gave us tremendous assistance in this endeavor. Also thank you to Operation Hope for the use of their truck.
Also, special thanks to all the volunteers who work in all of the area food pantries. We distributed approximately 28,000 pounds of food to 15 local pantries. These pantries were in dire need during this current recovery of the recession.
This may seem like a lot of food but it will go fast so do not forget your local pantries the rest of the year. People of Palatine, thank you!
