From the mouths of babes

I attended my niece's First Communion at St. Hubert's the other day. As Father conducted his sermon he walked through aisles filled with beautifully dressed children awed by the purpose and solemnity of the occasion.

Engaging them in a conversation about their future role in making the world a better place to live in, he asked a little girl, "What was the first Sacrament you received?" She smiled and responded, "Baptism, Father." "And do you remember your Baptism?" he asked. "Yes, Father," she said. A little surprised by the unexpected answer, Father thought for a second and asked, "Well then, do you remember the day your were born?" Her answer - "Yes Father. April 7th!"

I want to be seven years old again.
