North Aurora firefighters invite community to breakfast fundraiser

The members of the North Aurora Fire Department are once again hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Sunday, June 6.

The firefighters will be preparing pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, milk, juice and coffee. This year's breakfast will take place at the North Aurora Fire Department's Station 1, 2 N. Monroe St. Have breakfast and then watch the Mid-American Canoe and Kayak Race along the Fox River.

Proceeds will be used to purchase materials and educate the community about fire safety.

The cost of the breakfast will be $6 for adults, $5 for children between the ages of 3 and 12 and $3 for senior citizens. Children under the age of 3 get in free.

The firefighters turn on their grills at 6 a.m. and begin serving the community at 7 a.m. The breakfast ends at noon. For details, call the North Aurora Fire Department at (630) 897-9698.
