AC Milan's Ronaldinho happy to visit Chicago

Ronaldinho likes what he's seen of Chicago. He hopes Chicago likes what it sees of him at Toyota Park.

The Brazilian superstar and his AC Milan teammates trained at Toyota Park on Saturday in preparation for their friendly Sunday night against the Fire.

"Chicago is very good. Everytime that I come they have treated me well no matter who they are," said Ronaldinho, who threw out the first pitch before Friday's Cubs-Cardinals game. "This is a very happy event to be here."

Once considered the best soccer player in the world, Ronaldinho remains one of the most fun to watch, though his style of play didn't suit Brazil coach Dunga for next month's World Cup.

AC Milan also expects to play Alessandro Nesta, Alexandre Pato, Filippo Inzaghi and Clarence Seedorf against the Fire. Tickets are still available, according to Fire officials.

AC Milan is missing only its players heading to the World Cup, including American defender Oguchi Onyewu.

"I'm here and we're here to entertain people and to have an experience in the U.S. for us and for them, for the MLS, that creates the right vibes here in a growing sport in a country that has known soccer for not too long as an important sport," said Seedorf, a former Netherlands international. "So I think we can help them by being here and by playing these games and making sure the people leave here with a great impression about us."
