Leaders must follow U.S. Constitution
Just imagine, a middle class family, living in a modest, middle-class home, being paid for by a hardworking, law-abiding citizen, in a quiet, middle-class neighborhood, until one day, a band of people, not local, invade this home and refuse to leave, until finally, the owner calls the police to have them removed.
Then imagine, that soon after, strange things begin to occur. Some of the neighborhood children no longer come to play with this family's kids; the milkman refuses to deliver to their home, and, unbelievably, people from near and far accuse them of cruelty, racism, and inhumanity; inferring that the family should give the keys to the house to these intruders, giving them free access to all that the family has worked for, sacrificed for, and taken care of.
Now, further imagine that the president of the United States, apologizes to the intruders, condemns the homeowners, and clearly cautions anyone else who would try to legally protect their home, state, or country from invading criminals who break our laws.
Sound ridiculous? I couldn't agree more. But surely, "ridiculous" is far too kind a word for such politically correct insensitivity and ignorance. Maybe a requirement for holding office in America should be studying the constitution of the United States. Clearly, this administration is not familiar with the document and/or is contemptuous of it.
