Art in Your Eye accepting entries for special exhibit

Batavia's Art In Your Eye Festival, set for Aug. 14-15, is accepting entries for the juried City Hall Art Exhibit, with the postmark deadline for applications Tuesday, June 1.

The City Hall Exhibit is a special feature of the festival and is indoors in the city council chambers. Prizes and $650 in cash will be presented for this exhibit.

Artists may submit up to three works to be juried for the show, providing a digital image of each piece on a CD, along with the entry form, and the $15 jury fee. Applications must be postmarked by Tuesday, June 1. Applications may also be dropped off by June 1 at the second-floor reception desk at Batavia city hall, 100 N. Island Ave. Notification of acceptance will be sent after July 5.
