Too much DeWyze, more for students

Can someone tell me why Lee DeWyze and other 'personalities' get page after page, pix after pix, parades, keys to the city and assembly time at schools while Golden Apple teachers, student winners of math, geography and science and other notable events get a paragraph or two, if they are lucky?

An editorial on Page 10 and a brief front page article are all the teachers got. Where are our priorities? Where is the parade, the accolades and the honors for these winners? In my book they should be at the "top of the class."
