That's just the way it is

Yesterday my husband walked in the door and exclaimed, "Wow, this country sure is changing." I asked what he meant by that and he said because Jeff (son) needs a new lawn mower he thought he'd stop at Walmart and look them over. They had several on the floor, but he couldn't find any with English instructions. He told the clerk the instructions were all in Spanish! She found that incredulous, so after she helped him look and couldn't find any in English, my husband asked for the store manager. After explaining the problem, the manager said, "That's just the way it is!" My husband said, "But this is America" and again the manager said, "Sorry, that's just the way it is." With that, my husband said, "Well, you won't see me in another Walmart, and that's just the way it is" and walked out.
