Hear silent majority views on Arizona
While the vocal minority has been blasting Gov. Brewer and the Arizona legislature for passing an immigration enforcement law, it appears that the silent majority has been speaking through the Daily Herald Fence Post.
It seems as though logic is prevailing as people recognize that the Arizone law mirrors the federal law that is not being enforced at the same time that the Obama White House is reducing border security at the Mexican-Arizona border.
Why are the following six principles considered radical by some on the left: Strengthen and enforce the security of the borders; require individuals who seek medical or educational benefits to display identification and proof of citizenship; require individuals who break the law to do the same; deport anyone back to their home country who cannot produce the required identification in the above situations; penalize employers who hire illegal immigrants; work to review and update current immigration law
These seem to be basic expectations from our federal and state governments. At least the "silent" majority thinks so.
