Bulls hope to interview Thibodeau soon

The Bulls are gaining interest in Tom Thibodeau for their vacant coaching position and are hoping to talk to the Boston assistant when the Celtics-Magic playoff series ends, if not sooner.

Even though Boston is still playing, a sense of urgency has developed because of a growing belief Thibodeau will be offered the New Orleans job.

Ex-Portland and Philadelphia coach Maurice Cheeks remains the other top contender for the Bulls' vacancy.
