Shopping Bartlett actually helps us all

Bartlett's residents are responsible for the well-being of their city. The people of this fine town should be urged to shop at independent businesses within the community, so the local economy would be able to flourish.

Higher prices at small stores should not be a deterrent; consumers are paying for quality, knowledge and personal attention, which often can be overlooked by chain retailers.

By shopping predominantly in Bartlett, the town residents are able to increase employment opportunities at local businesses.

Furthermore, supporting shops within the immediate area eliminates the chance of big superstores destroying the city in one fell swoop. The key to having an affluent Bartlett could all be thanks to the community abiding by the option of shopping on the local level.
