Huntley high site for 40-flute choir concert
Enjoy "Fantastik Flutes" at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Huntley High School Performing Arts Center, 13719 Harmony Road.
They will be presenting a whole concert featuring a 40-flute choir. In addition to the flute choir, the Heineman Middle School Band and the Sun City Concert Band will play and accompany guest artists including Scott Metlicka, a member of the Elgin, Rockford, and South Bend symphonies; Melissa Snoza, a flutist with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and the Peninsula Music Festival; and Diane Aitken, a member of the Sun City Band.
The concert is free. Donations may be made at the door with the money going to the middle school music program. For more information, call (847) 961-5191.
