Memorial Day Weekend Block Party

The Arboretum of South Barrington starts off next weekend with its Memorial Day Weekend Block Party. The all-day event features live entertainment, a village kite-flying program, a pet trick show, performances by a juggler and a magician, carnival rides and music. Musical entertainment includes the group 10,000 Maniacs.

Breweriana Trade Show

The Bullfrog Chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America hosts its annual Spring Beer Can and Breweriana Trade Show. The group promotes the collection and trading of breweriana items. More than 50 tables of items, including brewery signs, beer cans, beer taps and more will be featured at the show. The public is invited.

Livestock and poultry show

The Garfield Farm Museum hosts the 24th Annual Rare Breeds Livestock & Poultry Show. See rare breeds of farm animals including horses, donkeys, mules and chickens. Guests can also watch sheep shearing and wool-spinning demonstrations.
